Guard Dogs London

LAPA Security has the benefit of a wide array of highly trained dog handlers for our guard dogs london service. Our search dog teams are both MOD and HM Prison Services qualified.

Through our rigourous training processes, our guard dogs and handlers are trained to work in virtually any environment. However, we understand that each situation requires a different type of trained dog and as a result we split our dogs into three distinct services:

• General Purpose Guard Dogs
• Search Teams (Drug and Explosive)
• Training (Dogs and Handlers)

General Purpose Guard Dogs

General purpose guard dogs london units are trained in a wide variety of areas and are capable of handling many different jobs. They are trained to be bold, but not necessarily aggressive.

They are able to detect intruders and to attack or defend without command.

Explosive Search

Unlike many other security companies, LAPA security has our own dedicated and qualified dog and handling team to tackle explosives.

The dogs are taught to be able to detect and indicate the presence of explosive materials. These include: Semtex, C4, TNT, Ammonia Nitrate, Firearms and Ammunition, Special Gel 80% and TATP amongst others.

Drug Search

LAPA’s drug search dogs are trained by veteran security dog handlers to sniff out the presence of illegal substances. Our dogs work in a variety of sectors, including schools and the entertainment industries.
